And now, O our God, what shall we say after this? For we have forsaken Your commandments,

I will stand my watch and set myself on the tower, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I shall reply when I am corrected.

But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who lays on wrath? (I speak as a man.)

Let it not be! Otherwise, how will God judge the world?
