Now I know that Jehovah is greater than all the gods; for in the very things in which they behaved proudly, He was above them.

for Jehovah your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great Mighty God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.

For Jehovah is the great and Mighty God, and the great King above all gods.

Let all be put to shame who serve graven images, who boast of idols. Bow down before Him, all you gods.

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?

If I take the wings of the dawn, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

If I say, Surely the darkness shall fall upon me, even the night shall be light round about me;

But You, O Jehovah, know me. You have seen me and tried my heart toward You. Pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and consecrate them for the day of slaughter.

I Jehovah search the heart, I examine the soul, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew everyone,

and had no need that anyone should bear witness of man, for He knew what was in man.

Why? Because I do not love you? God knows.

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.

And there is no creature that is not revealed in His presence, but all things are naked and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we must give answer.

And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the inner thoughts and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

And He will bring forth your righteousness like the light, and your justice like the noonday.

I will bear the indignation of Jehovah because I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my case and executes justice for me. He will bring me forth to the light; I shall see His righteousness.

Then you shall again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who does not serve Him.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the Word of Jehovah, He also has rejected you from being king.

If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot has hastened to deceit,

If my step has turned aside from the way, or my heart walked after my eyes, or if any blemish has clung to my hands,

If my land cries out against me, or its furrows weep together;

then let thistles come forth instead of wheat, and weeds instead of barley. The words of Job are finished.

O Jehovah my God, if I have done this: if there is iniquity in my hands;

let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it; yea, let him trample down my life upon the earth and lay my honor in the dust. Selah.

For if I have done wrong, or have committed anything deserving of death, I do not refuse to die; but if there is nothing in these things of which these men accuse me, no one can deliver me to them. I appeal to Caesar.
