You bring them in and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, in the place, O Jehovah, which You have made for Your own dwelling, the sanctuary, O Jehovah, which Your hands have established.

for the land is defiled. Therefore I am visiting its depravity upon it, and the land is vomiting out its inhabitants.

(for all these abominations the men who were in the land before you have done, and the land is defiled),

Therefore thus says Jehovah, Your wife shall be a harlot in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided by a survey line. And you shall die in a defiled land. And Israel shall be exiled into captivity from his land.

But Peter said, By no means, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.

And the voice spoke to him again the second time, What God has cleansed do not consider unclean.

But I said, By no means, Lord, for nothing common or unclean has at any time entered into my mouth.

But the voice answered me again from Heaven, What God has cleansed do not consider unclean.

And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tent of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them.

Also you shall say to them: Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among you, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,

and does not bring it to the door of the tent of meeting, to offer it unto Jehovah, that man shall be cut off from among his people.

There you shall bring your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the heave offerings of your hand, your vows, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks.

And from all their territories the priests and the Levites who were in all Israel stood with him.

And those from all the tribes of Israel, such as set their hearts to seek Jehovah the God of Israel, came to Jerusalem to sacrifice to Jehovah the God of their fathers.

So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and spent three years making Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, because they walked in the ways of David and Solomon for three years.
