Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Blessed is the man whom You correct, O YAH, and teach out of Your Law,

Blessed are they who have been persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.

Blessed are you when they shall revile and persecute you, and shall say every evil word against you falsely because of Me.

And you will be hated by everyone on account of My name. But he who endures to the end will be kept safe.

but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold fast to the origin of our Foundation steadfast to the end,

But we are not of those who draw back to destruction, but of those who believe to the preserving of the soul.

and he said: Naked I have come from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. Jehovah has given, and Jehovah has taken away; blessed is the name of Jehovah.

Though He slay me, yet will I wait for Him; but I will prove my own ways before Him.

He also is my salvation, for a hypocrite can not come before Him.

But He knows the way that I take; when He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

And Jehovah returned what had been taken captive from Job when he prayed for his friends. Indeed Jehovah gave Job twice as much as he had before.

So Jehovah blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.

And he called the name of the first Jemimah, the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch.

After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren to four generations.

Observe the perfect and consider the upright one; for the latter time of that man is peace.

Better is the end of a thing than the beginning of it; the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,

that the testing of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found unto praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust for the day of judgment, to be punished,

And Jehovah passed before him and proclaimed: Jehovah, Jehovah Mighty God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in goodness and truth,

Jehovah is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but not acquitting to leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation.

And David said to Gad, I am in great distress. Please let me fall into the hand of Jehovah, for His mercies are very great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.

For if you return to Jehovah, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before those holding them captive, to come back to this land; for Jehovah your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.

and refused to obey, and they were not mindful of Your wonders that You did among them. But they hardened their necks, and in their rebellion they appointed a leader to return to their bondage. But You are God, ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abundant in kindness; and did not forsake them.

Nevertheless in Your great mercy You did not annihilate them nor forsake them; for You are the Mighty God, gracious and merciful.

Remember, O Jehovah, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses; for they are from antiquity.

Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to Your mercy remember me for Your goodness' sake, O Jehovah.

But He, being compassionate, forgave their iniquity, and did not destroy them; yea, many a time He turned His anger away, and did not stir up all His wrath;

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abounding in mercy unto all those who call upon You.

But You, O Lord, are a Mighty God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

As a father has compassion on his children, so Jehovah has compassion on those who fear Him.

Gracious is Jehovah, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

Look upon me and be merciful unto me with justice, for I love Your name.

O give thanks to Jehovah, for He is good; for His mercy is eternal.

O give thanks to the Lord of lords; for His mercy is eternal:

to Him who by wisdom made the heavens, for His mercy is eternal;

to Him who made great lights, for His mercy is eternal;

the moon and stars to rule by night, for His mercy is eternal.

and brought out Israel from among them, for His mercy is eternal;

to Him who divided the Red Sea in two, for His mercy is eternal;

but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, for His mercy is eternal.

to Him who struck down great kings, for His mercy is eternal;

Sihon king of the Amorites, for His mercy is eternal;

and gave their land as a heritage, for His mercy is eternal;

Who remembered us in our lowly state, for His mercy is eternal;

Who gives food to all flesh, for His mercy is eternal.

Jehovah is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in kindness.

Seek Jehovah while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of Jehovah, the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah has bestowed upon us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel which He has bestowed upon them according to His mercies, and according to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses.

In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.

Through Jehovah's kindness we are not consumed, because His compassions never fail.

To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against Him.

O my God, bow down Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city which is called by Your name. For we do not make our supplications before You on account of our righteousness, but because of Your great mercies.

O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, give attention and act! Do not delay, for Your own sake, O my God. For Your city and Your people are called by Your name.

So, tear your heart, and not your garments; and return to Jehovah your God. For He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and He has compassion concerning the evil.

And he prayed to Jehovah, and said, Please, O Jehovah, was this not my word while I was still in my own country? On account of this, I fled to Tarshish before, for I knew that You are a gracious Mighty God and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and One who is moved to pity regarding inflicting evil.

Who is a Mighty God like You, forgiving iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His possession? His anger does not remain strong forever, for He delights in mercy.

And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.

Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.

but God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
