The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers well his steps.

To the Law and to the Testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them.

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know, yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you; unless indeed you are ones failing the test?

watching carefully that no one fall short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and through this many become defiled;

So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.

The Law of Jehovah is perfect, converting the soul; the Testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple.

The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of Jehovah are true and altogether just,

I will run the course of Your Commandments, for You shall enlarge my heart.

And I will walk in a broad place, for I seek Your Precepts.

I have seen the end of all perfection, but Your Commandment is exceedingly broad.

You, through Your Commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; for they are always with me.

I understand more than the elders, because I keep Your Precepts.

I have not departed from Your Justice, for You have taught me.

Through Your Precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.

For I delight in the Law of God according to the inward man.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

Therefore if the Son sets you free, you shall truly be free.

For you did not receive a spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, Abba, Father.

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

as free, yet not using liberty as a pretext for evil, but as bondservants of God.

If you will fear Jehovah and serve Him and obey His voice, and do not rebel against the mouth of Jehovah, then both you and the king who reigns over you shall follow Jehovah your God.

Then Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you continue to abide in My Word, you are truly My disciples.

As the Father loves Me, I also love you; continue in My love.

If you keep My commandments, you will continue in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and continue in His love.

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come to be;

eternal life to those who steadfastly doing good, seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility;

but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness; anger and wrath,

Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: On those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under Heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

Nevertheless she will be kept safe through childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.

Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will deliver both yourself and those who hear you.

Therefore let abide in you that which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets of what sort he was.

And Your servant is warned by them; in keeping them there is great reward.

Blessed are those who keep justice, and he who does righteousness at all times.

Blessed are those who keep His Testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart.

They also do no iniquity; they walk in His Ways.

Everyone who comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:

But he who hears and does not act is like a man who builds a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream bursts; and immediately it falls. And the ruin of that house is great.

But He said, No; rather, blessed are those who hear the Word of God and keep it.

If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

And I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow with them.

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the Tree of Life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
