For consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners against Himself, that you not become weary and faint in your souls.

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked by Him.

Surely you have instructed many, and you have strengthened weak hands.

Your words have upheld him who was stumbling, and you have strengthened the feeble knees.

Make the weak hands strong, and make the feeble knees secure.

Every hand will be feeble, and every knee will be as weak as water.

And it shall be when they say to you, Why are you sighing? that you shall answer, Because of the news; when it comes, every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass, declares the Lord Jehovah.

Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins shook, and his knees knocked one against the other.

She is empty, desolate, and waste. And the heart is melted, and the knees knocking; and trembling is in all the loins; and all of their faces are flushed.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the faint-hearted, uphold the weak, be longsuffering towards all.
