So when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging, to whom he explained and testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening.

whenever I may journey to Spain, I shall come to you; for I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may be filled with your company briefly.

And being persuaded of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith,

that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming to you again.

But I trust in the Lord that I myself shall also come shortly.

Know that our brother Timothy has been set free, with whom I shall see you if he comes shortly.

Having many things to write to you, I did not wish to do so with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

but I hope to see you shortly, and we shall speak face to face. Peace to you. Our friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.

Now I exhort you, brethren, through the Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in prayers to God on my behalf,

that I may come to you with joy through the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you.

you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given through many persons on our behalf for the gracious gift granted to us by many.

For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man is mighty.
