holding fast the faithful Word according to the teaching, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

A false witness shall perish, but the man who hears speaks enduringly.

But they said to her, You are beside yourself. Yet she kept insisting that it was so. So they said, It is his angel.

who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.

He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given concerning His Son.

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey superiors, to be ready for every good work,

And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful.

who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify a people for His own possession, zealous unto good works.

Can a man be of use to the Mighty God, as he who is wise may be profitable to himself?

If you are righteous, what do you give Him? Or what does He receive from your hand?

Your wickedness is for a man such as yourself, and your righteousness a son of man.

Oh my soul, you have said to Jehovah, You are my Lord; I have no goodness apart from You.

As for the saints who are on the earth, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.

For the ministry of this service not only supplies what is lacking to the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God,

and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.

who once was worthless to you, but now is useful to you and to me.
