nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith.

from which some, having deviated, have turned aside to idle talk,

If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to sound words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness,

useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.

But evil men and pretenders will grow worse and worse, leading astray and being led astray.

and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to myths.

If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but beguiles his own heart, this one's religion is vain.

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

And many will follow their destructive ways, through whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.

Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have risen up, by which we know that it is the last hour.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.

But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage),

O foolish Galatians. Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?

They zealously pursue you, but not well; yes, they want to exclude you, that you may be zealous for them.

My little children, for whom I travail again until Christ is formed in you,

Tell me, you who desire to be under the Law, do you not hear the Law?

Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole Law.

Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision!

For we are the circumcision, who serve God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and do not trust in the flesh,
