As the storm passes, so the wicked is no more; but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That Jehovah has founded Zion, and the poor of His people shall take refuge in it.

Therefore thus says the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I have founded in Zion a Stone, a tried Stone, a precious Cornerstone, a sure Foundation; he who trusts in It shall not be anxious.

and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

He is like a man building a house, who digs deep and lays the foundation on the rock. And when the flood rises, the stream bursts against that house, and cannot shake it, for it is founded on the rock.

According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.

For no one is able to lay any other foundation than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone,

storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall affliction, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

(for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls),

that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters in within the veil,

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that not all of them are of us.

Surely he shall never be shaken; the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

As the mountains are around Jerusalem, so Jehovah is around His people from this time forth and forever.

In that day, says Jehovah of Hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel, My servant, the son of Shealtiel, says Jehovah, and will make you like a signet; for I have chosen you, declares Jehovah of Hosts.

For behold, the stone which I have laid before Joshua, on the one stone are seven eyes. I will engrave its engraving, says Jehovah of Hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain. And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts: Grace! Grace to it!

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it. And you shall know that Jehovah of Hosts has sent me to you.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

and he spoke to Korah and all his company, saying, Tomorrow morning Jehovah will show who is His and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to Him. The one whom He chooses He will cause to come near to Him.

For Jehovah knows the way of the righteous; but the way of the wicked shall perish.

Jehovah knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be forever.

For Jehovah loves justice and does not forsake His Godly ones; they are preserved forever; but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.

And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who work out lawlessness!

But He will say, I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.

I am the Good Shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one has the power to snatch them out of My Father's hand.

I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying,

But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.

But now, knowing God, or rather being known by God, how is it that you turn again to the feeble and worthless principles, to which you desire again to be in bondage?

The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Thus they shall put My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.

You who love Jehovah, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

We are from antiquity; You never ruled over them; they were never called by Your name.

And you shall leave your name as a curse to My elect; for the Lord Jehovah will kill you, and call His servants by another name.

Go therefore and instruct all the nations, immersing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind everyone who calls on Your name.

And when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

so that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the Lord who does all these things.

and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, and sing unto Your name.

And so I have striven to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, so that I should not build on another man's foundation,

to the church of God which is in Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

of whom the whole family in Heaven and earth is named,

I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My Word, and have not denied My name.

And they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

And to man He said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.

Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

Depart from evil and do good, and live forevermore.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Jehovah and depart from evil.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cleave to what is good.

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilements of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the emptiness of their mind,

who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to licentiousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:

Therefore be imitators of God as beloved children.

But sexual perversion and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints;

For this you know, that no prostitute, unclean person, nor covetous person, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Therefore do not be partakers with them.

(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: sexual perversion, uncleanness, passion, evil lusts, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,

looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

but as He who called you is holy, you also become holy in all conduct,

And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, behave yourselves throughout the time of your sojourning in fear;

but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

with knowledge self-control, with self-control perseverance, with perseverance godliness,

For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the full true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make sure of your calling and election, for if you do these things you will not ever stumble;

Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and without blemish;

Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who produces righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and it is not his nature to sin, because he has been born of God.
