Jesus answered and said to them, You are in error, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.

having faith and a good conscience, which some having thrust away, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck,

For the love of money is a root of all evils, for which some being greedy, have strayed from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.

Therefore I was angry with that generation, and said, They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways.

Brethren, if anyone among you goes astray from the truth, and someone turns him back,

Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

If then you are raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.

Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to argue with empty words to no good, to the destruction of the hearers.

But He answered and said, Every plant which My Heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.

And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the Word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of trial draw back away.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon. Behold, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.

But I have prayed for you, that your faith does not fail; and when you have returned, strengthen your brethren.

but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow it; lest you even be found to fight against God.

For there need to also be heresies among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you.

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that not all of them are of us.
