For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep safe what I have committed to Him until that Day.

I will speak of Your Testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is My Law; do not fear the reproach of men, nor be afraid of their revilings.

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His glory, and that of His Father, and of the holy angels.

So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who is believing, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

As it is written: Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, and everyone believing on Him will not be put to shame.

Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my afflictions on your behalf, which is your glory.

If you are reproached for the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. According to them He is blasphemed, but according to you He is glorified.

The Law of Jehovah is perfect, converting the soul; the Testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple.

To the Law and to the Testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them.

And you also will bear witness, because you are with Me from the beginning.

And he who has seen has borne witness, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he speaks the truth, so that you may believe.

This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the emptiness of their mind,

who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,

And we have seen and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

who bears witness to the Word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw.

And they overcame him through the blood of the Lamb and through the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives unto death.

And I fell at his feet to do homage to him. But he said to me, Look out! No! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Do homage to God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain;

for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of bonds; but the Word of God is not bound.

You therefore endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him.

If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.

But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

and if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed unto us.

As it is written: For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we became spectacles to all creation, both to angels and to men.

To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and wander homeless.

being defamed, we entreat. We have become as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now.

Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I excel them: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often.

Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep;

in hardship and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness;

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

I now rejoice in my sufferings on your behalf, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, on behalf of His body, which is the church,

For, in fact, we told you before when we were with you that we were about to suffer affliction, just as it happened, and you know.

but rejoice in so far as you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also rejoice with exceeding joy.

But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a meddler in other people's matters.

I, John, both your brother and companion in the affliction and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos because of the Word of God and because of the testimony of Jesus Christ.

And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather exult in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I have strength for all things in Christ who strengthens me.

strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;

who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Now to Him who has the power to keep you from stumbling, and to present you without blemish before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
