His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will appoint you administrator over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.

He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give you what is your own?

And he said to him, Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

or ministry, in ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;

he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with simplicity; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

I encourage you, brethren; you know the household of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have appointed themselves to the ministry of the saints;

For God is not unjust, to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

If anyone speaks, let him speak as the words of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and might forever and ever. Amen.

And when he reached the stairs, it happened that he was carried by the soldiers because of the violence of the crowd.

And the saying pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch,

And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.

But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?

Then, at this saying, Moses fled and became an alien in the land of Midian, where he had two sons.

When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight; and as he drew near to observe, the voice of the Lord came to him,

Then the Lord said to him, Loosen the sandals from your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.

This Moses whom they rejected, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge? is the one God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush.

This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear.

whom our fathers did not desire to obey, but thrust him away. And in their hearts they turned back to Egypt,

And they made a calf in those days, led a sacrifice up to the idol, and made merry in the works of their own hands.

You also took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, images which you made to do homage; and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
