according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.

And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has given me strength, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry,

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.

I charge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate,

that you keep the commandment without spot, blameless until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

O Timothy, guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and empty babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge;

And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will also be able to teach others.

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own lusts, desiring to hear pleasant things, they will heap up for themselves teachers;

to Timothy, a true son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel.

to Timothy, my beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

to Titus, a true son in our common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten while in my bonds,

For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving;

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God for pulling down strongholds,

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies.

Stand firm therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;

You therefore endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

And also if anyone competes, he is not crowned unless he competes lawfully.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.
