Then He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.

But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you.

The soul of the sluggard desires and has nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

The sluggard will not plow; after the autumn he shall beg during harvest and have nothing.

The desire of the sluggard kills him, for his hands have refused to work.

I went by the field of the lazy man, and by the vineyard of the man lacking heart;

Then I saw; I set my heart on it; I observed and received instruction.

so shall your poverty come like a prowler, and your want like an armed man.

that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,
