as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice!

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in Heaven, for in this manner they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in Heaven.
