But I tell you, Do not resist evil. But whoever hits you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.

And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.

Therefore I say to you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either.

And as you would have men do to you, you also do likewise to them.

And if you do good to those who do good to you, what thanks is there to you? For even sinners do the same.

But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

And He said to His disciples, Therefore I say to you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.

Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. By how much do you surpass birds.

If you then are not able to do even the least, why are you anxious about the rest?

If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more you, you of little faith?

For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things.

But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with giddiness, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come upon you unexpectedly.

Now therefore, it is already an utter failure with you that you go to court against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather be defrauded?

But this I say, brethren, the time has been shortened, so that even those who have wives should be as though they had none,

and those who use this world as not using it up. For the form of this world is passing away.

Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat flesh, so that I not make my brother stumble.

And everyone who competes for the prize controls himself in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we an imperishable.

to speak evil of no one, not being a brawler, but fair, showing all meekness to all men.

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, By no means will I ever leave you nor ever forsake you.

So we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

searching for what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand of the sufferings of Christ and the glories after these things.

But if that wicked servant says in his heart, My master delays his coming,

the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not expecting him and in an hour he does not know,

For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.

not to be quickly disturbed in mind or alarmed, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the Day of Christ has come.

not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting; and so much the more as you see the Day drawing near.

You also be patient. Make your hearts firm, for the coming of the Lord draws near.

Do not grumble against one another, brethren, that you not be condemned. Behold, the Judge stands at the door.

But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be of sound mind and calm in your prayers.

But, beloved, do not be unaware of this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with intense burning; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

looking for and earnestly hastening unto the coming of the Day of God, through which the heavens will be dissolved, being set on fire, and the elements will melt with intense burning?

Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and without blemish;

Behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the Words of the Prophecy of this Book.

He who testifies to these things says, Surely I am coming quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
