Only, let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,

I have preached righteousness in the great assembly; lo, I have not restrained My lips, O Jehovah, You know.

O God, You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I have declared Your marvelous works.

Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.

Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will also confess him before the angels of God.

But what does it say? The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the Word of Faith which we preach):

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich toward all who call upon Him.

How then shall they call on Him into whom they do not believe? And how shall they believe Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without preaching?

But they have not all obeyed the gospel, for Isaiah says, Lord, who believes our report?

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him who hears say, Come. And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take of the Water of Life freely.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh does not profit; not a thing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the Words of eternal life.

Men and brethren, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you the Word of this salvation is sent.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort,

For the Word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever,

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of Life;

that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming to you again.

(as also you have understood us in part), that we are your rejoicing as you also are ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming.

Then I said, I have labored in vain; I have spent My strength for nothing, and in vain; yet surely My just due is with Jehovah, and My work with My God.

Therefore I run in this manner: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.

And I went up by revelation, and communicated to them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to those who were of reputation, lest by any means I might run, or had run, in vain.

I am afraid for you, lest I have labored among you in vain.

For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to know your faith, lest somehow the tempter had tempted you, and our labor should be in vain.
