For many conduct themselves, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ:

For our citizenship is in Heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing into the full true knowledge of God;

as you know how we exhorted, and encouraged, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children,

that you would walk worthily of God who calls you into His kingdom and glory.

Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God;

not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

with knowledge self-control, with self-control perseverance, with perseverance godliness,

For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the full true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, of what sort ought you to be in holy behavior and godliness,

Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and without blemish;

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who is believing, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, so that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine on them.

through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for your professed obedience to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men,

which is not another; but there are some who trouble you, even determined to pervert the gospel of Christ.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, cultivate your salvation with fear and trembling;

But I trust in the Lord that I myself shall also come shortly.

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints;

But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you always have good remembrance of us, greatly desiring to see us, as we also desire to see you;

hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,

For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and bore witness of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in truth.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in truth.

Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy,

fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand firm in the Lord, beloved.

Jerusalem is built like a city that has been joined together,

But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

Now I exhort you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be completely fitted together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be like men, be strong.

Let all that you do be done with love.

Finally, brethren, rejoice. Become complete. Be encouraged, be of one mind, be at peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for their good and for the good of their children after them.

I do not pray concerning these alone, but also concerning those who will believe into Me through their word;

that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

So continuing day by day with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

Now the multitude of those believing were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,

so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

For also the body is not one member but many.

And if the ear should say, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?

But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He intended.

But now indeed there are many members, but yet one body.

No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.

but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given more abundant honor to that part which is lacking,

And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

And God has placed some in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that works of power, then gifts of healing, helps, governings, tongues of nationalities.

Not everyone has gifts of healing? Not everyone speaks with tongues? Not everyone interprets?

endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

one Lord, one faith, one immersion;

Moreover the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning the common salvation, it was necessary for me to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

for Jehovah will plead their case, and plunder the soul of those who plunder them.

And after some days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

Through Him we have received grace and apostleship unto obedience of faith among all nations for His name,

But what does it say? The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the Word of Faith which we preach):

In whom also, after you heard the Word of Truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also, believing, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.

having faith and a good conscience, which some having thrust away, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck,

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.
