I am Jehovah your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

And remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and Jehovah your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore Jehovah your God has commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.

You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and Jehovah your God redeemed you; therefore I command you this thing today.

And you shall answer and say before Jehovah your God: My father was an Aramean, about to perish, and he went down to Egypt and sojourned there, few in number; and there he became a nation, great, mighty, and populous.

And we cried out unto Jehovah the God of our fathers, and Jehovah heard our voice and looked upon our affliction and our labor and our oppression.

And He has brought us to this place and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey;

I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

You saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heard their cry by the Red Sea.

You gave signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, upon all his servants, and upon all the people of his land. For You knew that they had acted proudly against them. So You made a name for Yourself, as it is this day.

To Him who struck Egypt in their firstborn, for His mercy is eternal;

with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, for His mercy is eternal;

Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, who seek Jehovah: Look to the rock from which you have been hewn, and to the hole of the pit from which you have been dug.

For You have set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day, and in Israel and among men; and have made Yourself a name, as it is this day;

and have brought forth Your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and with wonders, and with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm, and with great terror.

But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered to you.

And having been set free from sin, you became slaves to righteousness.

Therefore remember that you, being Gentiles in the flesh; who are called uncircumcision by what is called the circumcision made in the flesh by hands;

that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

And I have taken into consideration that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not except by a mighty hand.

And Moses said to the people: Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Jehovah has brought you out from here. Nothing leavened shall be eaten.
