Deuteronomy 7:12-18
12
Then it shall come to pass, because you obey these judgments, and keep and do them, that Jehovah your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He has sworn to your fathers.
13
And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the offspring of your cattle and the increase of your flock, in the land of which He has sworn to your fathers to give you.
14
You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be sterility or barrenness among you or among your livestock.
15
And Jehovah will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.
16
And you shall destroy all the peoples whom Jehovah your God is delivering over to you; your eye shall have no pity on them; nor shall you serve their gods, for that would be a snare to you.
17
If you should think in your heart, These nations are greater than I; how can I dispossess them?
18
you shall not be afraid of them, but you shall call to mind to remember what Jehovah your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt:
Deuteronomy 8:10-20

When you have eaten and been filled, then you shall bless Jehovah your God for the good land which He has given you.
11
Beware that you do not forget Jehovah your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I am commanding you today,
12
lest, when you have eaten and been filled, and have built beautiful houses and dwelt in them;
13
and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied;
14
when your heart is lifted up, and you forget Jehovah your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;
15
who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with the fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land with no water; who has brought water for you out of the rock of flint;
16
who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers had not known, to humble you and to test you, to do you good in the end;
17
you say in your heart, My power and the might of my hand have acquired me this wealth.
18
But you shall remember Jehovah your God, for it is He who gives you power to acquire wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He has sworn to your fathers, as it is this day.
19
And it shall be, if you cease caring, to forget Jehovah your God, and have walked after other gods, and have served them and bowed down to them, I testify against you this day that you shall perish to extermination.
20
As the nations which Jehovah is destroying before you, so you shall perish, because you would not obey the voice of Jehovah your God.

Your fame went out among the nations because of your beauty, for it was perfect through My splendor which I had bestowed upon you, declares the Lord Jehovah.

But you trusted in your own beauty, committed adultery because of your fame, and poured out your harlotry on everyone passing by who would have it.

You took some of your garments and adorned multicolored high places for yourself, and committed adultery on them. Such things should not happen, nor be.

You have also taken your beautiful jewelry from My gold and My silver, which I had given you, and made for yourself male images and committed adultery with them.

And you took your embroidered garments and covered them, and you set My oil and My incense before them.

Also My food which I gave you; the fine flour, oil, and honey which I fed you; you set it before them as a soothing aroma; and so it was, says the Lord Jehovah.

Moreover you took your sons and your daughters, whom you bore to Me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Were your acts of harlotry a small matter,
