Deuteronomy 4:23
Take heed to yourselves, that you not forget the covenant of Jehovah your God which He has made with you, and make for yourselves a carved image in the form of anything which Jehovah your God has forbidden you.
Exodus 19:5-8

Now therefore, if you will listen to obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.

And you shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Israel.

And Moses came and summoned the elders of the people, and laid before them all these words which Jehovah had commanded him.
8
And all the people answered together and said, All that Jehovah has spoken we will do. So Moses brought back the words of the people unto Jehovah.
Exodus 24:8
And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, This is the blood of the covenant which Jehovah has made with you according to all these words.
Hebrews 8:6-13

But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.

For if that first had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.

Because finding fault with them, He says: Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant, and bring fulfillment to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah;

not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I did not regard them, says the Lord.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will give My Laws into their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

And they shall not each one teach his neighbor, and each one his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for every one shall know Me, from the least of them to their great ones.
12
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will by no means remember any longer.

In that He says, New, He has made the first old. Now what is becoming worn out and growing old is ready to disappear.
Hebrews 9:19-23

For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the scroll itself and all the people,

saying, This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you.
21
Then likewise he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels of service.
22
And according to the Law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
23
Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the Heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
