These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generation. Noah walked with God.

And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before Me and be perfect;

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and the man was perfect and upright, and one who feared God and turned away from evil.

Then Jehovah said to Satan, Have you set your heart on My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and upright man, one who fears God and turns away from evil?

Observe the perfect and consider the upright one; for the latter time of that man is peace.

Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in Heaven is perfect.

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold, since Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

Therefore let us, as many as are complete, be of this mind; and if in anything you think differently, God will reveal even this to you.

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works being fulfilled before God.
