But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head unveiled dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaven.

For a man indeed ought not to veil his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.

Nor was man created through the woman, but woman through the man.

And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

And He is the Head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn out from the dead, that in all things He may be preeminent.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word,

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

and to wait for His Son from Heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the coming wrath.
