neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.

and he said: Naked I have come from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. Jehovah has given, and Jehovah has taken away; blessed is the name of Jehovah.

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of Jehovah, the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah has bestowed upon us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel which He has bestowed upon them according to His mercies, and according to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses.

So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.

I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you in Christ Jesus,

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;

giving thanks to the Father who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God, even the Father, through Him.

For what thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy with which we rejoice for your sake before our God,

in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,

But we owe thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth,

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will clearly make known to you concerning the Father.

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God, even the Father, through Him.

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, confessing to His name.

you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

If anyone speaks, let him speak as the words of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and might forever and ever. Amen.
