and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

to another works of power, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another tongues of nationalities, to another the interpretation of tongues.

For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted; you may well put up with it.

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters in within the veil,

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in Heaven for you,

who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.

And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
