For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who produces righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

Will you show partiality for Him? Will you contend for the Mighty God?

Will it be well when He searches you out? Or do you mock Him as one mocks a man?

Even as I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same.

Therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own way and be filled with their own devices.

Perversity is in his heart, he devises evil all the time, he spreads strife.

a false witness who breathes lies, and he who spreads strife among brothers.

The wicked does deceitful work, but one sowing righteousness receives honest wages.

For they sow the wind, and they reap the whirlwind. It has no stalk; the bud shall yield no flour. If it should happen to produce, strangers will swallow it up.

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in kindness. Break up your fallow ground. For it is time to seek Jehovah, until He comes and rains righteousness on you.

But Abraham said, Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.

who will render to each one according to his works:

but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness; anger and wrath,

but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
