I am afraid for you, lest I have labored among you in vain.

I would like to be present with you now and to change my tone; for I have doubts about you.

And in this confidence I intended to come to you before now, that you might have a second benefit;

And I wrote this very thing to you, that, when I came, I should not have sorrow over those from whom I ought to have joy, having confidence in you all that my joy is the joy of you all.

Therefore I rejoice that I have confidence in you in everything.

And we have sent with them our brother whom we have often proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, because of the great confidence which we have in you.

And we are persuaded in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you.

Having confidence in your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say.

which is not another; but there are some who trouble you, even determined to pervert the gospel of Christ.

And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage),

O foolish Galatians. Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?

They zealously pursue you, but not well; yes, they want to exclude you, that you may be zealous for them.

As many as desire to make a good showing in the flesh, these compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

For not even those who are circumcised keep the Law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.

From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the brand marks of the Lord Jesus.

And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.

Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they appointed Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them to go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, concerning this question.

Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, You must be circumcised and keep the Law; to whom we gave no such commandment;

Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have risen up, by which we know that it is the last hour.

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

Who is a liar but he who denies, saying that Jesus is not the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

Therefore let abide in you that which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

These things I have written to you concerning those who try to lead you astray.

I could wish that those who unsettle your minds would even cut themselves off.

deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

This punishment from the majority is sufficient for such a man,

But I beseech you that when I am present I may not be bold with that confidence by which I figure on being bold against some, who think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

and being ready to avenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Therefore I write these things being absent, that when present I should not use sharpness, according to the authority which the Lord has given me for building up and not for pulling down.

of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered to Satan that they may be taught not to blaspheme.

But those who seemed to be something (whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God shows personal regard to no man), those who seemed to be important added nothing to me.

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.
