Hebrews 6:4-6

For it is impossible for those who at one time were given understanding, and have tasted the Heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit,

and have tasted the good Word of God and the powers of the age to come,

and also turn aside, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and expose Him to public disgrace.
Hebrews 10:32-39

But remember the former days in which, after you were given understanding, you endured a great struggle with afflictions,

indeed while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and afflictions, and also while you became companions of those who were so treated;

for you had compassion on me in my bonds, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing, yourselves, that you have a better and an enduring possession in Heaven.

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not linger.

Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul is not pleased with him.

But we are not of those who draw back to destruction, but of those who believe to the preserving of the soul.
2 Peter 2:20-22

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the full true knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the end is worse for them than the beginning.

For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: A dog returns to his own vomit, and, a sow, having been washed, to her wallowing in the mire.
