I have confidence in you, in the Lord, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he may be.

I could wish that those who unsettle your minds would even cut themselves off.

And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.

Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.

What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as it were, foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.

in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.

For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

And many will follow their destructive ways, through whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.

For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were set forth to this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny the only Lord God, even our Lord Jesus Christ.

But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the Law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed.

But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

And I will walk in a broad place, for I seek Your Precepts.

And a slave does not remain in the house forever, but the son remains forever.

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

as free, yet not using liberty as a pretext for evil, but as bondservants of God.

While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.

Even so we, when we were children, were enslaved under the elements of the world.

But now, knowing God, or rather being known by God, how is it that you turn again to the feeble and worthless principles, to which you desire again to be in bondage?

You observe days and months and seasons and years.

for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, and is in bondage with her children;

But I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, who have said to your soul, Bow down so that we may pass over; and lay your back on the ground, even as the street, for those who cross over.

For you endure if someone brings you into bondage, if someone devours you, if someone takes from you, if someone exalts himself, if someone strikes you on the face.
