So when they were sent away, they came to Antioch; and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.

And Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words.

However, it seemed good to Silas to remain there.

to whom we did not yield in submission even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

For I consider that I am not at all inferior to the most eminent apostles.

I speak in dishonor, as though we had been weak. But in whatever anyone is bold (I speak foolishly), I am bold also.

Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I excel them: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often.

Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep;

in hardship and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness;

I have become foolish in boasting; you have compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you; for in nothing was I inferior to the most eminent apostles, though I am nothing.

Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.

Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning the common salvation, it was necessary for me to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

And Moses said to Aaron, What did this people do to you that you have brought so great a sin upon them?

And Aaron said, Do not let the anger of my lord be kindled. You know the people, that they are set on evil.

And Jehovah spoke to Moses and Aaron, Because you did not believe Me, to sanctify Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given to them.

You therefore gird up your loins, and arise, and speak to them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed at their faces, lest I shame you before them.

But Jonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of Jehovah. And he went down to Joppa, and he found a ship going to Tarshish. And he paid its fare and went down into it in order to go with them to Tarshish, from the presence of Jehovah.

And now, O Jehovah, please take my life from me. For it is better for me to die than to live.

Now Barnabas was determined to take with them John called Mark.

And the contention became so sharp that they parted from one another. And so Barnabas took Mark and sailed to Cyprus;

Then Paul, looking earnestly at the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.

Then Paul said to him, God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! For you sit to judge me according to the Law, and do you command me to be struck contrary to the Law?

Then Paul said, I did not know, brethren, that he was the high priest; for it is written, You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people.

For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a flawless man, able also to bridle the whole body.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.
