For our rejoicing is this: the testimony of our conscience, that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

avoiding this: that anyone should find fault with us in this abundance which is administered by us;

Nevertheless, that we not offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.

But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a snare in our brother's way.

But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak.

And because of your knowledge the weak brother will perish, the one for whom Christ died.

Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat flesh, so that I not make my brother stumble.

If others are partakers of this authority over you, should we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this authority, but endure all things so that we might not hinder the gospel of Christ.

to the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might in any way save some.

All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things build up.

Let no one seek his own, but each one the other's well-being.

Do not become a cause of stumbling, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God,

just as I also strive to please everyone in everything, not seeking my own profit, but of the many, in order that they may be saved.
