And in this confidence I intended to come to you before now, that you might have a second benefit;

This will be the third time I am coming to you. By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.

So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own souls, because you had become beloved to us.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming.

For you are our glory and joy.

Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not eager for dishonest gain but with a ready mind;

and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

Jehovah has blessed my master greatly, and he has become great; and He has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys.
