And they will heed your voice; and you shall come, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt; and you shall say to him, Jehovah the God of the Hebrews has met with us; and now, please, let us go three days journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice unto Jehovah our God.

And they said, The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Now, let us go three days' journey into the desert and sacrifice unto Jehovah our God, that He not fall upon us with pestilence or with the sword.

And you shall say to him, Jehovah the God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness; but behold, until now you have not given heed.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh and speak to him, Thus says Jehovah, God of the Hebrews: Let My people go, that they may serve Me.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Rise early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him, Thus says Jehovah the God of the Hebrews: Let My people go, that they may serve Me,

And Moses and Aaron came in to Pharaoh and said to him, Thus says Jehovah the God of the Hebrews: How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me.

I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, taught according to the strictness of our fathers' Law, and was zealous toward God as you all are today.

I say then, has God cast away His people? Let it not be! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; according to the Law, a Pharisee;

Also I have given unto you and your seed after you the land in which you sojourn, all the land of Canaan, as an enduring possession; and I will be their God.

And God said to Abraham: As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations.

Are You not our God, who drove out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel, and gave it to the seed of Abraham Your friend forever?

and do not think to say within yourselves, We have Abraham as our father. For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

They answered Him, We are Abraham's seed, and have been in slavery to no one at any time. How can You say, You will be made free?

And a slave does not remain in the house forever, but the son remains forever.

I know that you are Abraham's seed, but you seek to kill Me, because My Word has no place in you.

They answered and said to Him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said to them, If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham.

For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

because the Law brings about wrath; for where there is no law, neither is there transgression.

(as it is written, I have made you a father of many nations) in the presence of Him whom he believed; God, who makes the dead alive and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;
