Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some others, letters of commendation to you or commendation from you?

For we do not commend ourselves again to you, but give you occasion to rejoice on our behalf, that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart.

Truly you are the people, and wisdom will die with you!
