but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to be on fire.

Flee sexual perversion. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth,

as a loving deer and a graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times, and always be intoxicated in her love.

forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be partaken with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Jehovah.

Houses and riches are the inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Jehovah.

Yet you say, For what reason? Because Jehovah has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously; and she is your companion and your wife by covenant.

So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.

Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she reverence her husband.
