Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Let it not be!

Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body? For the two, He says, shall become one flesh.

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, just as you say, I and all that I have are yours.

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things are from You, and out of Your own hand we have given to You.

that has said, We shall be strong with our tongue; our lips are our own; who is lord over us?

Know that Jehovah, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself.

For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord over both the dead and the living.

and He died for all, that those who live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto Him who died for them and rose again.

who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify a people for His own possession, zealous unto good works.
