that you were enriched in everything in Him in all utterance and all knowledge,

And I, brethren, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual but as to carnal, even as to babes in Christ.

I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able, and even now you are still not able;

Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

There are those who pretend to be rich, yet have nothing; and those who act poor, yet have great riches.

A man boasting himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and understanding in their own sight!

He performs mightily with His arm; He scatters the proud in the thoughts of their hearts.

He fills the hungry with good things, and the rich He sends away empty.

Woe to you who are full, for you shall hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep.

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to understand with a sound mind, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing; and do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked;

Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.

For I know this, that after my departure vicious wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.

Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.

Only, let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, cultivate your salvation with fear and trembling;

And Moses said to him, Are you jealous for my sake? Oh, that all the people of Jehovah were prophets and that Jehovah would put His Spirit upon them!

And Paul said, I would to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today, might become both almost and altogether such as I am, except for these bonds.

Oh, that you would bear with me in a little foolishness, and indeed bear with me.

For thrones are set there for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

Peace be within your walls, quietness within your palaces.

Because of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek your good.

even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen. May Jehovah do so. May Jehovah establish your words which you have prophesied, to bring back the vessels of Jehovah's house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

For we rejoice when we are weak and you are strong. And this also we pray, that you may be made complete.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming.

For you are our glory and joy.

But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you always have good remembrance of us, greatly desiring to see us, as we also desire to see you;

For now we live, if you stand fast in the Lord.

This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him.

If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.

and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign upon the earth.
