Therefore thus says the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I have founded in Zion a Stone, a tried Stone, a precious Cornerstone, a sure Foundation; he who trusts in It shall not be anxious.

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this Rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against It.

This is the Stone which was counted as nothing by you builders, which has become the Head of the Corner.

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under Heaven given among men that is required for us to be saved.

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted; you may well put up with it.

which is not another; but there are some who trouble you, even determined to pervert the gospel of Christ.

As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone,

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands firm, having this seal: The Lord knows those who are His, and, Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him will by no means be ashamed.

and a Stone of stumbling and a Rock of offense. They stumble, being disobedient to the Word, to which they also were appointed.
