Therefore I urge you, be imitators of me.

just as I also strive to please everyone in everything, not seeking my own profit, but of the many, in order that they may be saved.

Brethren, join in being imitators of me, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.

And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the Word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit,

not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example of how you should imitate us.

that you do not become slothful, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to building up.

For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.

Therefore be imitators of God as beloved children.

And walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Let each of you not look out for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
