Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to leave her husband.

But, indeed, in case she does leave, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to send away his wife.

But to the rest I say, not the Lord: If any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is willing to live with him, let him not send her away.

And a woman who has an unbelieving husband, if he is willing to live with her, let her not leave him.
14
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

For by one Spirit we were all immersed into one body; whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.

For also the body is not one member but many.

If the foot should say, Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?

And if the ear should say, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?

If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?

But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He intended.

And if they were all one member, where would the body be?

But now indeed there are many members, but yet one body.

And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you; nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.
