Now concerning spiritual matters, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant:

But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant.

For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.

Our fathers did homage on this mountain, and you say that in Jerusalem is the right place to do homage.

And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while still uncircumcised, that he might be the father of all those believing through uncircumcision, that righteousness might be accounted to them also;

And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

And Jehovah went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to shine on them, to go by day and night.

The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people.

And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them.

And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.

And the cloud covered over the tent of meeting, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

And on the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the Testimony; from evening until morning it was above the tabernacle like the appearance of fire.

Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tent, after that the children of Israel would set out; and in the place where the cloud settled, there the children of Israel would encamp.

When the cloud continued long, many days above the tabernacle, the children of Israel kept the charge of Jehovah and did not set out.

So it was, when the cloud remained from evening until morning: when the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they would set out; whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud was taken up, they would set out.

and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, Jehovah, are among these people; that You, Jehovah, are seen face to face and Your cloud stands above them, and You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.

who went in the way before you to search out a place for you to encamp, to show you the way you should go, in the fire by night and in the cloud by day.

Moreover You led them by day with a cloudy pillar, and by night with a pillar of fire, to give them light on the way which they should travel.

yet in Your manifold mercies You did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of the cloud did not depart from them by day, to lead them on the road; nor the pillar of fire by night, to show them light, and the way they should go.

In the daytime also He led them with the cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.

He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light at night.

And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them.

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and Jehovah caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.

They set out from before Hahiroth and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and camped at Marah.

for Jehovah your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over, as Jehovah your God did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over,

And You divided the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and those pursuing them You threw into the deep, as a stone into the mighty waters.

He has turned the sea into dry land; they went through the river on foot; there we rejoiced in Him.

The waters saw You, O God; the waters saw You, they were afraid; the depths also trembled.

The voice of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; the lightnings lit up the world; the earth trembled and shook.

You led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

He divided the sea and caused them to pass through; and He made the waters stand up like a heap.

and He led them on safely, so that they did not fear; but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders; they did not remember the multitude of Your mercies, but rebelled by the sea; the Red Sea.

He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it was dried up; so He led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

The waters covered their enemies; there was not one of them left.

The sea saw it and fled; Jordan turned back.

What ails you, O sea, that you fled? O Jordan, that you turned back?

to Him who divided the Red Sea in two, for His mercy is eternal;

but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, for His mercy is eternal.

And Jehovah shall guide you continually and satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones fat; and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

If you turn back your foot, on the Sabbath, from doing what you please on My holy days, and call the Sabbath a delight, the sacred of Jehovah, honorable; and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,

By faith they crossed over the Red Sea as through dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were swallowed up.

And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the glassy sea, having harps of God.

And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints.
