Romans 4:1
What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh?

This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings which he shall offer unto Jehovah:

If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer, with the sacrifice of thanksgiving, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, unleavened wafers anointed with oil, or cakes of fine flour mixed with oil.
13
Besides the cakes, as his offering he shall offer leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offering.
14
And from it he shall offer one cake from each offering as a heave offering unto Jehovah. It shall be for the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.
15
And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offering for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day it is offered. He shall not leave any of it until morning.
16
But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offers his sacrifice; and on the next day the remainder of it may also be eaten;
17
but the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire.
1 Samuel 2:13-16

And the custom of the priests with the people was that when any man offered a sacrifice, the priest's servant would come with a three-pronged fleshhook in his hand while the flesh was boiling.

And he would thrust it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; and the priest would take for himself all that the fleshhook brought up. Thus they did in Shiloh to all Israel who came there.

Also, before they burned the fat with smoke, the priest's servant would come and say to the man who was sacrificing, Give flesh for roasting to the priest, for he will not take boiled flesh from you, but raw.

And if the man said to him, It is time to burn the fat to make it smoke, then you may take as much as your soul desires; he would then answer him, No, but you must give it now; and if not, I will take it by force.
1 Samuel 9:12
And they answered them and said, Yes, behold he is ahead of you. Hurry now; for today he has come to this city, because there is a sacrifice of the people today at the high place.
1 Samuel 9:13
As soon as you come into the city, you will surely find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. For the people will not eat until he comes, because he must bless the sacrifice; afterward those who are invited will eat. Now therefore, go up, for today you will find him.
