And why not say (as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say), Let us do evil that good may come? Their condemnation is just.

Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

But someone will say, How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?

Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted by God; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.

But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who lays on wrath? (I speak as a man.)

For if in my lie, the truth of God has abounded to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?

As for you, you had devised evil against me; but God had planned it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

and said: O Jehovah the God of our fathers, are You not God in Heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You?

If He takes away, who can repulse Him? Who can say to Him, What are You doing?

How then can I answer Him, and choose my words before Him?

But He is One, and who can turn Him back? And whatever His soul desires, that He does.

For He completes what is prescribed for me, and many such things are with Him.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; with the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.

I will send him against a hypocritical nation, and against the people of My wrath. I will command him to draw out the plunder, and to seize the spoils, and to trample them like the mud of the streets.

Yet he does not plan this, nor does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off not a few nations.

declaring the end from the beginning, and from antiquity things which are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure;

calling a bird of prey from the east, the man who executes my counsel from a distant land. Indeed, I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have formed it; I will also do it.

And all those living in the earth are counted as nothing. And He does according to His will in the army of Heaven, and among those living in the earth. And no one is able to restrain His hand or say to Him, What are You doing?

The Son of Man truly goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had never been born.

Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;

For truly against Your holy Son Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together

to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.
