For the creation was subjected to vanity, not willingly, but through Him who subjected it in hope;

And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under Heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

Fear took hold of them there, and writhing, like a woman giving birth.

They have made it a desolation. Being desolate, it mourns to Me. The whole land is made desolate because no man lays it to heart.

A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she gives birth to the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a person has been born into the world.

And being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
