Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

who also has sealed us and given us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Now He who has fashioned us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the earnest of the Spirit.

In whom also, after you heard the Word of Truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also, believing, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.

For our rejoicing is this: the testimony of our conscience, that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.

Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.

He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given concerning His Son.
