Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from the body of this death?

restrain Your servant from arrogance; do not let them rule over me. Then I shall be perfect, and I shall be innocent of great transgression.

Direct my steps in Your Word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me.

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through His Spirit who dwells in you.

For this corruptible needs to put on incorruption, and this mortal needs to put on immortality.

So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory.

For we who live are always delivered to death because of Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.
