For what the Law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh; and on account of sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once for all, at the end of the ages, He has been manifested to put away sin through the sacrifice of Himself.

so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, without sin, unto salvation.

For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,

Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself.

For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord over both the dead and the living.

For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him.

and He died for all, that those who live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto Him who died for them and rose again.

For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
