For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord over both the dead and the living.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify a people for His own possession, zealous unto good works.

that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh in the lusts of men, but in the will of God.
