And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;

For the man was over forty years old on whom this sign of healing had been performed.

And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother's womb, who had never walked.

And a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years,

So He asked his father, How long has this been happening to him? And he said, From childhood.

So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, lo, eighteen years, to be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?

Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.

And as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth.

but by what means he now sees we do not know, or who opened his eyes we do not know. He is of age; ask him. He will speak for himself.

And they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men.

When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, Son, your sins are forgiven you.

Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins except for One, God?

Which is easier: To say to the paralytic, Your sins are forgiven you; or to say, Arise, take up your bed and walk?

I say to you, Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.
